Better Life is an established vendor of household appliances in the UAE. After facing stiff competition from large competitors and stores the owners embarked on a major turnaround exercise, starting with renewing the majority of the leadership team, and tasking them with modernizing and refocusing the business. After analyzing the situation and drafting a comprehensive transformation plan for the entire organization, the team mapped out a transformation journey for all levels of the organization. The kick off was the Phoenix 2.0 workshop where the achievements so far were recognized and celebrated, and used as a launchpad for the new vision, strategy and mission for the organization. The mainpillars and KPIs driving the strategy were articulated.

A change initiative was kicked off across all levels of the organization. While functional specialists addressed the service and sales teams, building their focus on the customer experience and delivery excellence, P3A concentrated on developing and preparing the leadership team for the new organization. After 1-on-1 sessions with the leadership team members, a development plan was prepared focusing on two main components: A training program for leaders and managers addressing selected management skill set in line with the company vision and strategy was delivered, and a number of workplace coaching sessions to root the training and assure its implementation at the workplace.

Better Life is on track of its transformation journey, with a renewed focus and resilience, facing challenging and dynamic market conditions. The team is young and keen to tackle the challenges ahead. 

In the Phoenix 3.0 workshop we brought together the fruits of the effort so far, mapped out the road ahead and finalized the specific KPIs for each business line.
